Under an African baobab in the Argentine pampas, the Tokoloshe, drunk on ayahuasca, dances sakkie-sakkie with El Curupi and they start to tell their stories of myths and miracles ….
From this starting point, four theatre-makers collaborated to create a new production, inspired by traditional and contemporary myths and legends from both sides of the Atlantic, an experiment in cross-cultural creation. Workshopped in Buenos Aires and with the versatile performances of Cristian Palacios and Juan Manuel Caputo, KÜIMIN tells a story of conquistadors and Calibans, vengeful witches and traveling magicians...
